1948 Gibson LG-2 Sunburst. Very nice example of a 1940s LG2, 
Double bound Mahogany body with a spruce top and ladder bracing. 
Typical V profile mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. 
3 in-line Open back tuners. Note!! The guitar has had a set of different tuners on at some stage as the holes are a bit larger and there are marks left from the washer under the nut at the front. There is also a small strap button hole on the neck heel. The button has been removed and can be reinstated. The nut width is 42.5mm approximately. The guitar weighs 1.65Kg or 3.64Lb
In good condition overall, there is wear as the guitar has been played lots which does make perfect sense as it does sound incredible. 
One of the nicest LG's we have ever had in. There is no splits or repairs, the guitar might have benefitted from a neck re-set at some point in time as the action is low. 
The soft-shell case it has come in with has had better days, so it does come with the soft-shell and a gig bag.
