1955 Martin D-28. Fantastic mid 50s D28, in good overall condition. Braz. Rosewood back and sides, spruce top and ebony bridge. Mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and dot inlays. The action is a comfortable 2mm on the low E side and 1.75mm on the high E. The frets are in good condition however do show some light wear. Original waffle back tuners and tortoiseshell pickguard. The guitar has playing wear at the back of the neck, some buckle rush and marks as well as some wear at the front. No splits or repairs. Great player and a fantastic sounding Martin. This guitar weighs 4.66Lb or 2.11Kg. The nut width is 42.5mm approx. Comes with a hardshell case.
