1959 Gibson ES 355 TDC Stereo W-Side to Side Vibrola. We are very pleased to offer for sale this fantastic example of a 1959 ES355 stereo in cherry finish. Bound Maple back and sides. Arched Maple top with F holes. Late 50s profile bound mahogany neck with a 12” radius Ebony fingerboard. MOP Block inlays and split diamond headstock inlay. The nut width is 42.5mm. The frets have been dressed are in very good shape. The playability of the guitar is extremely good. Gold hardware, Grover tuners, side to side vibrola and ABR 1 bridge. The pickups are the original PAF pickups with gold covers. Both are double blacks. The pickups read 7.31K on the Rhythm (neck) side and 8.62K on the Treble (bridge) side. The pickup covers and Vibrola have tarnished over time but are in very good shape. (See images) Round rotary knob varitone. The guitar is in overall great condition, no breaks, repairs or any scratches. This guitar weighs 9.56Lb or 4.335Kg. Great player and great sounding ES. Comes with the original brown Lifton case, also in exceptional condition.
