1961 Gibson ES-335-TD Sunburst. Here we have a fantastic ES335 that has just come available on the market. In original and great condition throughout. Double bound Maple body. Slim taper 60 profile Mahogany neck with a period Rosewood fingerboard. 22 Frets and pearl dot inlays. The frets are original and still in good shape. The machine heads are all original but the two middle ones that have been changed at some stage to a pair of double ring. The pickups are original PAFs and the readings are 7.13K at the bridge and 8.18K at the neck. (They do sound very balanced in level). Usual 1x volume and 1x tone control for each on a 3 way toggle switch. Original knobs, toggle tip. Lightweight aluminium tailpiece and ABR-1 Bridge. 5 layer multi-ply long guard. This guitar weighs 3.50 Kg or 7.72Lb. The nut width is 42mm approx. This guitar is such a good player and incredibly good sounding that is hard to put down. Excellent condition throughout, no breaks or repairs beside a bit of the binding by the nut having been re-glued. There is a couple of small dings but nothing major (see images). Comes with the original brown Lifton case.
