1962 Gretsch G6120 Chet Atkins Double cutaway in Western Orange & original hard shell case
 
Another stunning example of an early 60s 6120 Double cut. Double bound, double cut Maple body. Maple neck with an ebony fingerboard and thumbnail inlays. 
The guitar has had a re-fret at some stage and has been re-fretted with jumbo frets. 
The frets are in good shape and there is plenty for a future fret dress. 
Horse shoe headstock inlay. Open back tuners, V cut Gretsch bygsby, roller bridge. 
Very low action and great playibility. 
2 Filter tron humbucker pickups with individual volumes and a master volume. 
Pickup selector switch, tone switch and a cut switch. 
This guitar also has the earlier dial up mute.
In excellent condition throughout, no binding rot, no breaks or repairs. 
Note, the G string tuner is slightly bent, beside that, i'ts Just light playing wear. 
The nut width is 42.5mm. 
The guitar weighs 7.69Lb or 3.49Kg.
