1966 Martin D21. Here is a fantastic ’66 Martin D-21 made in Nazareth. Natural lacquer finish spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and rosewood bridge. This guitar has a well played and nicely aged spruce top with a tortoise shell pickguard and binding. The Brazilian rosewood back and sides have a nice pattern with matching figuring on either side the back-strip. Mahogany unbound neck rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays and a nut width of 43mm. At some point it appears that the tuners were replaced with Schallers but now has the original Grovers reinstated. Generally the finish has various dings, dents and scrapes with some play wear between the sound hole and bridge and below the pickguard, slight area of finish wear through on the back of the neck at the first fret. Frets have some life left. A great acoustic that’s just waiting to be played. Weighs 2.29 kgs and comes with a later generic case.
