1968 Fender Telecaster Blonde- Maple Cap Board. Here we have a great and rare late 60s Telecaster in Blonde with a Maple cap Board finish. Alder body finished in Blonde. The body is in very good condition beside a few marks and some small ding. Please refer to the photos. The lacquer has checkered really nicely and does show some very cool lines when the light catches the guitar at the right angle. (See Images). Medium C profile maple neck with a 7.25” radius Maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. The neck stamp date is February 68. The frets are in excellent condition throughout as the guitar has had a recent re-fret and had very little use since. The nut has been replaced as the original was both low and split. (Original in the case). The nut width is 40.5mm approx. The overall condition of the neck is excellent, there is just a little bit of wear behind fret 5 and 6 and a couple of very small marks behind fret 13. Original Fender F stamped vintage tuners, 3 saddle bottom loader bridge. The pots and wiring is original and untouched, the pots do date 17th week of 1966. The pickguard is also in great condition and does not have any splits or major wear. This guitar weighs 7.52Lb or 3.41Kg. Great sounding Telecaster and fantastic player all round.
