1968 Gibson ES 355 TDC MONO. Here we have a fantastic late 60s Mono ES355 in a stunning cherry finish. This guitar is In amazing condition throughout. Bound Maple back and sides. Arched Maple top with F holes. Late 60s profile bound mahogany neck with a 12” radius Ebony fingerboard. MOP Block inlays and split diamond headstock inlay. The nut width is typical late 60s at 40mm. The frets have are in good shape, they do show some minor pitting. The playability of the guitar is extremely good.Gold hardware, Grover waffle back tuners, vibrola and ABR 1 bridge with nylon saddles. The pickups are the original Pat Number sticker pickups with gold covers. The pickups read 7.96K on the Rhythm (neck) side and 8K on the Treble (bridge) side. The pickup covers and Vibrola have tarnished a little bit over time but are in very good shape. (See images). The guitar is in overall great condition, no breaks, repairs or any scratches. Great light lacquer checking throughout. All original beside the Bridge pickup surround which is a replacement. General light wear in places, (see images). This guitar weighs 9.18Lb or 4.165Kg. Great player and great sounding ES. Comes with the original black case, also in great condition beside having a replacement handle fitted.
