1972 GIBSON LES PAUL DELUXE - GOLDTOP. Here is a superb early 70’s Gold Top Deluxe in good original condition. The top has a great weather checked deep Gold finish. Has a new bridge, not a huge amount of meat left on the frets. Sublime sounding Mini Humbuckers with just the right amount of bite. The rear of the guitar shows some areas of wear and buckle rash and the back of the neck and headstock has horizontal checking. One changed tuner and new bridge (originals are in the case).All plastics, binding pick up covers are pretty solid with intact goof rings. Changed tone pots, one is 65, original Black Beauty caps, volume pots dates can’t be read as they are covered by the solder.
