1979 Rickenbacker 4001. 

Fantastic late 70s Ricky in great original condition. 

D profile three piece Maple/Walnut/Maple Neck through a double cut and double bound Maple body. 33.25” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width and twin truss rod.

Rosewood fingerboard with Triangle inlays. 
Two hi gain pickups. Two volumes, two tone controls on a 3 way toggle switch.
Standard Rick-O-Sound (1971) wiring. 
Open gear tuners, RIC tailpiece and bridge.
Single ply white plexiglass scratch plate. In great overall condition, no breaks or repairs. 
There are some light marks and light playing wear, no major dings or scratches beside a couple of light marks at the back.
The finish has also developed a bit of really Nicke lacquer checking near the top and bottom horn front and back.
The pickguard has unfortunately split at the neck pickup screw position. 
The bridge pickup cover has also been removed and it is not present.
Excellent player and not too heavy at 9.25Lb or 4.19Kg. 
Comes with a rectangular non original hardshell case.
