1979 Yamaha SG 2000 Sunburst finish. These were first introduced in 1976 and soon played by their first SG2000 endorsee Carlos Santana, these guitars are well known and are used by many both in the studio and live as they are very versatile and great sounding. Mahogany body, carved maple top, Mahogany Neck with a rosewood fingerboard. All original with original twin-shielded Alnico V humbucker pickups. 42mm at the nut and weighs 4.4 kgs or 9.7 pounds. The guitar is in good condition overall beside a few marks. (See images). The finish has develop a slight faint haze between the lacquer and the paint. Comes with the original hardshell case.
