1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom and hard shell case. Fantastic late 80s Les Paul in Ebony black finish. Double bound mahogany body, carved maple top. Standard profile mahogany neck, more towards the 60 than the chunky 50s. 12” radius Ebony fingerboard and MOP block inlays and a nut width of 42.5mm. 
The frets are original and do show some minor pitting and wear. There is plenty for a fret dress when required. The pickups are both Bill Lawrence with the usual 3 way toggle and 2x Volume, 2 x Tone controls. All the wiring is factory, the pots do date 41st and 42nd week on 1989. Gold hardware, Including Gibson/Schaller tuners. The tuners, the Tune O Matic bridge and the pickup covers have tarnished with use. The stop bar did not tarnish as much. In original condition, no repairs or breaks. The pickup rings are ok, however the neck pickup ring has a split. Original black speed knobs and multiply pickguard. There guitar weighs 10.4Lb or 4.73Kg. In very good condition throughout beside a few marks, some light scratches and a small ding on the neck behind fret Number 4. (Not a problem when playing it) 
Great player and great classic Bill Lawrence pickup sound. Comes with the original Brown Tolex case.
