2015 Fender '62 Telecaster Custom Shop Relic Red Sparkle with hard shell case & COA. Here we have a really nice 62 telecaster custom reissue in stunning a red sparkle relic finish. Most likely part of a small run they did for the 2015 winter NAMM show. Double bound lightweight alder body finished in red sparkle Relic lacquer finish. 1 piece quarter sawn Maple neck with a mid 60s Oval C profile and a 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard and 6105 fret wire and a bone nut. The nut width is 42mm approx. Hand wound ’63 telecaster pickups. We have lifted the bridge pickup to see who did the wound, there is no markings on the brass plate to tell. We did not lift the neck pickup. 3 Way toggle switch with modern wiring. Usual 1 x Volume and 1x Tone controls. Three-ply mint pickguard, vintage style bridge and tuners. Stunning looking guitar, great player and great sounding. The guitar weighs 7.46Lb or 3.38Kg. In perfect condition throughout beside a minor solder fix on the ground wires attached to the volume pot. Barely played otherwise. Comes with the original brown tolex case, COA, tags and some case candy.
